A Bridgman City Library Levy Renewal measure was on the August 7, 2012 ballot in the city of Bridgman, which is in Berrien County.

This measure sought to renew the current library levy which is set at a rate of $1 per $1,000 of assessed value for a further five years in order to continue to pay for the operational costs of the library in the city.[2]

In support of continued operation of the Bridgman City Library, shall the limitation on the total amount of taxes which may be assessed against the taxable valuation of all property in the City of Bridgman liable for taxation be set at one mill ($1.00 per each $1,000 of taxable valuation, as equalized). The authorization to renew the levy of said millage is for a period of five (5) years, being the years of 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. It is estimated that the amount of revenue to be generated from the total millage in the first year of levy (2013) will be approximately $99,193.00.
