  • NO 2,005 (76.97%)Defeatedd[1]

This measure sought to create a bond in the amount of $23.9 million in order to help pay for a new K-6 school building and also to help with renovations to the high school building in the district. A 7 mill levy would have also been enacted to help pay for the bond payments.[2]

Those in favor of the measure noted that while it is a tough time for residents the school needs will help the area long term and help students continue to get good school services. Those opposed saw it as too much and too far reaching in these hard economic times.[3]
