Bruce Borders is a Republican member of the Indiana House of Representatives, representing the 45th District since 2004. He is the former Mayor of Jasonville.

Borders is the Owner of Borders Insurance and Financial Services. He has also worked as an Elvis impersonator.

He is a member of the First Assembly of God Church, and a Leader with the Royal Rangers Jasonville Chapter.[1]

Borders ran for re-election to the 45th District seat against Democrat Jesse James. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.

Borders ran unopposed in the Republican primary on May 4th.

2008

On November 4, 2008, Republican Bruce Borders won re-election to the Indiana House of Representatives District 45 receiving 12,700 votes, ahead of Democrat Richard A. Marshall who received 11,608 votes.[2]
