Bruce E. Rampelberg is a Republican member of the South Dakota State Senate, representing District 30. Rampelberg was elected to the South Dakota State Senate in 2010.

He spent 19 years working in the banking industry as a bank president. He now owns American State Bank and is the vice president of Public Relations for First Interstate Bank.[1]

Rampelberg earned his B.S. in Business Education from the University of Montana. He and his wife Sandee have two sons and three grandchildren.[2]

Rampelberg won re-election in the 2012 election for South Dakota State Senate District 30. Rampelberg defeated George Ferebee in the Republican primary on June 5. No Democratic candidates filed. Rampelberg was unopposed in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[3][4]
