Donald "Bud" Hover is the current Director of Agriculture for the state of Washington. He was named to the state executive post by Governor Jay Inslee (D) on March 12, 2013.[1]

Hover assumed the office on April 1, 2013, succeeding four year officeholder Dan Newhouse.[2]


Prior to his appointment as Agriculture Director, Hover served as Okanogan County Commissioner. He and his family run a hay and cattle ranch in Winthrop, Washington.[1][3]
