Burke Day (b. April 12, 1954) was a Republican member of the Georgia House of Representatives, representing the 163rd District from 2007-2011. He did not seek re-election in 2010.

He was Police Commissioner with the City of Tybee Island from 1992-1994, and on the City Council from 1991-1994.

Day is a professional writer/author, and self-employed investor. He previously served as Assistant Chairman of the Board for Days Inn of America from 1970-1984.

He is a member of the Optimists Club, and the Jimmy Carter President Library/Center Board of Councilors.[1]
