C.D. Davidsmeyer is a Republican member of the Illinois House of Representatives, representing District 100. He was first appointed to the chamber in December 2012.[1][2]

Davidsmeyer served on the Jacksonville City Council from 2008 to 2012.[3]


Davidsmeyer earned his B.A. in Political Science from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 2002. His professional experience includes working as Legislative Assistant to Congressman Shimkus, and Operations Manager and Vice President of IRC, Inc.[3]

Elections for the office of Illinois House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on March 18, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was December 2, 2013. Josh Evans ran unopposed in the Democratic primary, while incumbent C.D. Davidsmeyer ran unopposed in the Republican primary. Davidsmeyer then defeated Evans in the general election.[4][5][6][7]
