This measure sought to renew the current property tax of .75 mill for a further ten years. The tax goes towards funding senior services offered throughout the county. Average home owners in the county pay about $37 a year towards this tax currently. Around 6,700 seniors in the county take advantage of the services offered through the county which are funded by this tax.[2]
