The California Vote Requirement (2008) (Initiative # 07-0019), also known as the Calfornia Non Partisan Candidate Qualification Act, was a statutory initiative measure to be submitted directly California voters.

If the measure had prevailed, it would have "provided amended voter signature qualification process for state-wide elected office (Governor, ect. to U.S. Senator) from: Collecting 3% volume of registered voter signatures, perhaps only from within candidate's local geographic area..., [change to] Collecting lower volume of registered voter signatures from each of California 58 counties to demonstrate a state-wide representation campaign."

Connor Vlakancic of the California NonPartisan Independent Committee.
