The California Faculty Association (CFA) is a union for faculty in the California State University system. CFA lays claim to a membership of "23,000 professors, lecturers, librarians, counselors and coaches who teach in the California State University system", which includes 23 campuses.

According to CFA's website, "Endorsing and campaigning for candidates, working to support/oppose ballot measures and supporting CFA’s political action funds are just three ways that members support CFA’s political action program."

Lillian Taiz is CFA's president.
