A California Single Sales Factor Tax Policy Initiative (#11-0080) has been submitted to the Attorney General of California's office as a potential contender for the state's 2012 ballot as an initiated state statute.

Joseph Caves submitted a letter requesting a ballot title on November 18, 2011. A ballot title and summary is expected by January 12, 2012. Once those documents are issued, sponsors of #11-0080 will have 150 days to collect 504,760 signatures to qualify the proposed initiative for the November 6, 2012 ballot.
