California Proposition 6, pertaining to a Prohibition on State Legislators Holding Other Employment with Government, was on the November 7, 1916 ballot in California as an initiated constitutional amendment, where it was approved.

Proposition 6 established that no member of the California State Legislature during his term of office can accept other employment with the state.
