The California Target Book is a subscription-based almanac of California politics. It describes itself as giving "non-partisan, unbiased 'insider' information to all who want to be kept fully informed and up-to-date on congressional and state legislative election campaigns in California."

The California Target Book was established in 1993 and is published by Allan Hoffenblum. The staff of the publication includes "a bi-partisan editorial team of six seasoned political-public affairs consultants who have each been involved in all aspects of California politics for more than twenty-five years."

Subscriptions cost $1,200 per year, or $2,000 for a two-year legislative cycle.[1]
