A Camp Verde City 1/2 Cent Sales Tax Increase measure was on the November 2, 2010 ballot in the city of Camp Verde, which is in Yavapai County.

This measure was defeated

  • YES 1,183 (36%)
  • NO 2,103 (64%)Defeatedd[1]

This measure, petitioned for by citizens of Camp Verde, obtained the required 400 signatures needed to get this issue on to the ballot. Residents were not happy with the council's sales tax option so they proposed this measure which more clearly state what the additional money would go towards and would also be at a cheaper rate. The two proposed projects for this money would have been additions to the local library and development of infrastructure and ball fields at the new park in the town.[2]
