Carlos Cisneros is a Democratic member of the New Mexico Senate. Cisneros joined the New Mexico State Senate in 1985. He has served in that position since, representing the 6th district. Cisneros has worked in Insurance. He has also worked for the Union Oil Company of California.

Cisneros attended both the University of Montana and New Mexico Highlands University.
