A Carlsbad Limits on Retirement Benefits, Proposition G ballot proposition was on the November 2, 2010 ballot for voters in the City of Carlsbad in San Diego County.[1] It was approved.

Proposition G requires a public vote on pension increases for government workers.

  • Yes: 23,985 (64.28%) Approveda
  • No: 13,328 (35.72%)

Election results are from the San Diego County elections division as of November 26, 2010.

A simple majority vote was required for approval.

Proposition G: Shall the Charter of Carlsbad, California be amended to add Section 502 Retention of Benefits limiting increases in safety retirement benefits without an amendment to this section?[2]
