Carolyn McLaughlin was a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 108 of the New York State Assembly. While she lost the Democratic nomination, she will be on the ballot for the Working Families Party.

McLaughlin ran in the 2012 election for New York State Assembly District 108. McLaughlin was defeated by John T. McDonald, III in the Democratic primary on September 13, 2012. She also ran on the Working Families Party ticket unopposed. McLaughlin was defeated by McDonald in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2]
