There will be a Carson City-Crystal School District Bond Measure on the May 4 ballot in Montcalm County for voters in the Carson City-Crystal school district.

This measure seeks to create a bond in the amount of $1,030,000 in order to help with furnishing, remodeling and equipping the buildings school in the district in order to be more energy efficient.[1] The property taxes in the area would not be increased if this bond was approved, school officials noted that ongoing projects to upgrade buildings and technology would just continue as planned. Roof replacement and a new heating system in one of the elementary schools is on the top of the list if this bond is approved.[2]
