A Casco Township Ambulance Levy Renewal measure was on the August 7, 2012 ballot in the township of Casco, which is in Allegan County.

This measure was approved

This measure sought to renew the current ambulance levy which is set at a rate of $1 per $1,000 of assessed value for a further eight years in order to continue to pay for ambulance services in the township.[2]

The question on the ballot:

Shall the previously increased limitation on the total amount of taxes which may be assessed against property in Casco Township, Allegan County, Michigan, as provided in the Michigan Constitution of 1963, reduced by required rollback to 0.7625 mill, be renewed at 1.0 mill ($1.00 per $1,000.00 of taxable value) for the period of 2014 through 2023, inclusive, to provide ambulance service in the Township; and shall the Township be authorized to levy this tax?[3]
