A Castaic Union Elementary School District bond proposition, Measure QS ballot question was on the November 6, 2012, ballot for voters in the Castaic Union Elementary School District in Los Angeles County, where it was approved.

Measure QS authorized the district to borrow $51 million.

A 55 percent supermajority vote was required for approval.

Measure QS: "To provide modern and efficient elementary and middle school facilities, shall Castaic Union School District build up-to-date science labs/classrooms/facilities, provide modern computers/technology/equipment, replace inefficient and outdated heating/ventilation systems and update fire alarm/safety systems by issuing $51 million in bonds at legal rates, with independent oversight, no money for administrators, and all funds staying local?"[1]
