Catherine Nolan (b. March 12, 1958) is a Democratic member of the New York State Assembly. She has represented District 37 since 1985. Nolan is presently the Democratic District Leader. Her other political experiences include participating in the Assembly Major Steering Committee, New York Assembly; delegate to the Democratic National Convention; and campaigning for Queens Ombudsman for the Department of State.

Nolan ran unopposed in the September 14 Democratic primary. She defeated John Wilson (R) in the general election on November 2.[2] In addition to running on the Democratic ticket, she ran on the Working Familes ticket.
