Catherine Nolan (b. March 12, 1958) is a Democratic member of the New York State Assembly. She has represented District 37 since 1985. Nolan is presently the Democratic District Leader. Her other political experiences include participating in the Assembly Major Steering Committee, New York Assembly; delegate to the Democratic National Convention; and campaigning for Queens Ombudsman for the Department of State.

Nolan earned a BA in political science from New York University. She and her husband, Gerard Marsicano, have one child; Nicholas.[1]

Nolan is running in the 2012 election for New York State Assembly District 37. She is running unopposed in the Democratic primary on September 13, 2012. She is also running on the Working Families Party ticket. John Kevin Wilson is running unopposed in the Republican primary. The general election takes place on November 6, 2012. [2]
