Cecil Brown (b. June 22, 1944) is a Democratic member of the Mississippi House of Representatives. He has represented the 66th District since 2000.

Brown is an investment advisor. He has previously been Executive Director of the Department of Finance and Administration, and a state fiscal officer. He attended the University of Mississippi and University of Texas.

Brown is a member of the ALCAA, Greater Jackson Foundation, Jackson Redevelopment Authority, and the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants.[1]

Brown is running in the 2011 election for Mississippi House of Representatives District 66. He ran unopposed in the primary on August 2, 2011. No Republican candidates filed to run for election. The general election takes place on November 8, 2011. [2]

2007

On November 6, 2007 Brown was re-elected in District 66, defeating Republican challenger Cory Wilson.[3] He defeated Stacey Webb in the primary election.[4]
