Chad Christensen was a Republican member of the Nevada Assembly. He represented the 13th District from 2002 to 2010, serving as Minority Whip. Christensen is running for U.S. Senate in 2010.

Christensen earned his Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Brigham Young University in 1996. He is involved in business development and sales management for a small business; former managing director for the Christensen Company; and former management consultant for the Steven R. Covey Leadership Center. He and his wife, Ashley, have five children: Cole, Reed, Cooper, Race and Chloé.

On November 4, 2008, Christensen won re-election to the District 13 Seat in the Nevada Assembly, defeating opponents Andrew Martin and Leonard Foster.[1]
