McBurney is currently a Partner with the law firm of Fischette, Owen, Held and McBurney. He previously served as a Senior Trial Assistant in the State Attorney's Office, Jacksonville from 1984-1990, and was an Associate with Mathews, Osborne, McNalt, Gobelman and Cobb from 1982-1984.[1]
