Text of measure

The question on the ballot:

Shall the tax limitation on general ad valorem taxes within Charlevoix County imposed under Article IX, Sec. 6 of the Michigan Constitution be increased for Charlevoix County Commission on Aging by .65 mills or $0.65 per $1,000.00 of taxable value for a period of four (4) years, 2012 though 2015 inclusive, for the purpose of supporting existing and implementing additional Senior Citizen programs? If approved and levied in its entirety, it is estimated that the .65 (65/100) mill would raise an estimated $1,312,034 for the County when first levied in 2012.[3]
