Chris Eaton is a Democratic member of the Minnesota State Senate, representing District 40 since 2013. He previously represented District 46 from 2011 to 2013. She was first elected in the October 18, 2011 special election for District 46. Eaton was running to fill the vacancy created when Linda Scheid (D) passed away in June after a battle with cancer.[1][2]

Eaton won election in District 40 in 2012 due to redistricting. She defeated Timothy A. Davis, Sr. in the August 14 primary and was unopposed in the general election on November 6, 2012.[3][4]
