Biography

Head graduated from the University of Georgia, where he studied Music Education. Head and his wife run a home senior care family business, based in Roanoke and Lynchburg.[1]

Head is running for re-election in the 2013 election for Virginia House of Delegates District 17. Head ran unopposed in the June 11th Republican Primary. The general election takes place on November 5, 2013.

On November 8, 2011, Head won election to District 17 of the Virginia House of Delegates. He was uncontested in the August 23 primary and defeated Freeda Cathcart (D) in the November 8 general election.[2]

Personal

Head and his wife, Betsy, have three children, Tori, Abby and Michael. For seven years, Head served as a Minister of Music in a church. He has volunteered with the Downtown Roanoke Kiwanis Club and on the board of the Roanoke Regional Chamber of Commerce. He has volunteered as a driver for Meals on Wheels.[1]
