Chris Lethem is a 2014 Republican candidate for District 12 of the Hawaii State Senate.

Biography

Place of Birth: Dodge City Kansas Birthdate: August 10,1961

Chris Lethem graduated high school in 1979. He then joined the U.S. Marine Corps where spent his tour in southeast Asia; primarily Japan. While living in Japan he earned a second degree black belt and learned to speak Japanese.

He then returned to the United States and attended college in Kansas City, Missouri as a reservist in the U.S. Marine Corp.

He moved to Hawaii in 1986 and began working in sales, continued to attend college, and found work in the pension and investment consulting.

He moved to Indonesia in 1990 and co-founded Pacific Financial Services in Jakarta Indonesia, where he managed client investment portfolios and syndicated various investment projects throughout SouthEast Asia.

Elections for the office of Hawaii State Senate will take place in 2014. A primary election took place August 9, 2014. The general election will be held on November 4, 2014. The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 3, 2014. Incumbent Brickwood M. Galuteria defeated Carlton N. Middleton in the Democratic primary, while Chris Lethem was unopposed in the Republican primary. Galuteria will face Lethem in the general election.[1][2]
