Molendorp earned his BA in Political Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He currently works as an Agent/Owner of Farmers Insurance Group. He was a Payroll and Human Resource Provider with Paychex, Incorporated from 1995-1997, Accountant Manager for Emery Worldwide Consolidated Freightways from 1993-1995, and Staff Member for Missouri State Treasurer Wendell Bailey from 1991-1993.
He serves on the Board of Elders of Belton Christian Church, is an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America of the Hope Haven of Cass County, Incorporated Board of Directors, and the Bel-Ray Sunrise Lions Club.[1]
