Christopher Banks is a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 60 of the New York State Assembly.

Banks is the founder of East New York United Concerned Citizens, Inc., an antipoverty group.[1]

Banks is running in the 2012 election for New York State Assembly District 60. He is running against incumbent Inez D. Barron -- who is also running on the Working Families Party ticket -- in the Democratic primary on September 13, 2012. Kenneth Waluyn is running unopposed in the Republican primary; he is also running on the Conservative Party ticket. The general election takes place on November 6, 2012. [2]
