Christopher 'Kip' Bateman (b. October 9, 1957) is a Republican member of the New Jersey Senate, representing District 16. He was first elected to the chamber in 1997. He previously served as Deputy Minority Caucus Leader. Bills that have been sponsored by Senator Bateman include Senate Bill 241 and Senate Bill 308.[1]

Bateman was a member of the New Jersey State Assembly from 1994 to 2007. He served as the Assistant Republican Leader during his time in this chamber.

Biography

Bateman earned his B.A in Political Science and History from Ithaca College and his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law.[2] His professional includes working as a partner at the law firm DiFrancesco, Bateman, Coley, Yospin, Kunzman, Davis & Lehrer.
