Christopher Connors has been a Republican member of the New Jersey Senate since 2008. Bills that have been sponsored by Senator Connors include Senate Bill 75 and Senate Bill 76.[1]

Connors graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from Stockton State College, and also graduated with an M.P.A in public administration from Rutgers University. He also obtained his J.D. from Rutger School of Law-Camden.[2]

In addition to being a senator, Connors is an attorney at the law firm Dasti, Murphy, McGuckin, Ulaky, Cherkos & Connors. Connors also ran for the state senate in 2007. Prior to that, Connors was a member of the New Jersey General Assembly from 1989 to 2007.[3]

Connors is running for re-election to the District 9 State Senate seat in the 2011 election. He was unopposed for the June 7 Republican primary election. Connors is opposed by Democratic candidate Dorothy Ryan in the general election which takes place on November 8, 2011. [4]

In 2007 Connors was elected to the New Jersey State Senate District 9. Connors (R) finished with 35,504 votes while his opponent Russel Corby (D) finished with 21,524 votes.[5] Connors did not raised any money for his campaign fund.[6]
