Christopher Markey is a Democratic member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives, representing the Ninth Bristol district. He was first elected to the chamber in 2011.

Markey won re-election in the 2012 election for Massachusetts House of Representatives Ninth Bristol District. Markey was unopposed in the September 6 Democratic primary and was unopposed in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1]

Markey won election to the Ninth Bristol Seat in 2010. He defeated Raymond Medeiros and Robert Tavares, Jr. in the September 14 Democratic primary. He defeated Joe Michaud (R) and Russell Protentis (I) in the general election on November 2, 2010.[2]
