Chuck Pardue was an Independent candidate for District 23 of the Georgia State Senate. The primary election was on July 20, 2010 and the general election was on November 2.

Pardue was slated to oppose incumbent Republican Jesse Stone in the November 2 general election, but dropped out of the race on July 29, citing family reasons.[1]
