City of Irwindale Hotel Tax, Measure T (November 2009)
Measure T ratified the City of Irwindale's existing utility users tax, and extended the type of utilities/services to which the tax applies to keep up with "changes in technology."
The question on the ballot:
|Measure T: "To help preserve the safety and character of the City of Irwindale through general City services such as law enforcement, fire protection, street repair, park maintenance, and recreational services, shall the City’s existing utility users’ tax be ratified and broadened to apply to changes in technology and laws since it was instituted in 1977, while maintaining an exemption for low-volume utility users?"|
