A City of Porterville City Manager Severance Pay Limitation Amendment, Measure P ballot question was on the June 3, 2014 election ballot for voters in the city of Porterville in Tulare County, California, where it was approved.

Measure P amended the city charter to limit any severance pay given to the city manager to be a maximum of the city manager's 12-month salary.[1]

The question on the ballot:[1]

Should the Charter be amended to provide that any severance pay to the City Manager is limited to the equivalent of a maximum of 12 months salary, subject to any other restrictions set forth by State law and further limitations as authorized by the City Council?[2]
