City of Sonora Hotel Tax, Measure B (June 2010)
From Ballotpedia
A City of Sonora Hotel Tax, Measure B was on the June 8, 2010 ballot in Tuolumne County, where it was approved.
The City of Sonora already had a hotel occupancy tax of 8%. Measure B increased that tax to 10%. The tax will be paid by visitors to hotels, motels and other transient lodging in the city.[1]
Implementation of Measure B was linked to passage of Measure A so a consistent tax rate would continue to apply in all of Tuolumne County.[2]
