A City of Winters Police and Fire Advisory Vote, Measure Y ballot proposition was on the June 8, 2010 ballot for voters in the City of Winters in Yolo County, where it was approved.

  • Yes: 448 (52.0%) Approveda
  • No: 413 (48.0%)

Measure Y, an advisory vote, was accompanied on the ballot by Measure W, a binding vote that, since it was approved, will increase the utility users tax in the city to 9.5%.

The question on the ballot:

ADVISORY VOTE ONLY: Should revenue from the increase in the utility users tax proposed in the Winters Vital City Services Measure give priority to funding operational expenses for City of Winters police and fire services?
