A clarity/factual hearing is a required stage in the process of recall campaigns in Michigan.

Groups or individuals who wish to have a politician removed must submit proposed recall language to county election officials in the county where the politician lives.

The County Clerk, county treasurer and Chief Judge of Probate serve as the commission.[1]

Laws regarding the clarity/factual hearing were updated in 2012.[2]
