The Clean Energy Fuels Corp. is the primary supporter of California Proposition 10 (2008), to which, as of July 14, 2008, it had single-handedly donated $3,247,250.00.
The company was incorporated in 2001. It is headquartered in Seal Beach, California. According to its website, it "embodies the initial vision of Boone Pickens". The company was once known as "Pickens Fuel".
It is the largest provider of vehicular natural gas for fleets of vehicles in North America.
