Aldridge ran for re-election to the Oklahoma State Senate. He defeated James Lane (R) in the primary election on July 27, 2010. [1] Jerry Lee Nowell (I) was stricken from the ballot. Aldridge defeated Mike Kelly (D)in the general election which took place on November 2, 2010.[2]
