Elections

2016

Zweifel, who is unable to seek a third term as state treasurer due to term limits, had been mentioned as a possible candidate for governor in 2016. On April 8, 2013, Zweifel's campaign manager Mike Pridemore said that he would not run for governor in order to be able to spend time with his daughters and avoid the possibility of a divisive party primary.[3]
