Colin M. Simpson (b. March 5, 1959) is a Republican member of the Wyoming House of Representatives, representing District 24.

Education

Simpson earned his BA from Colorado College in 1982. He went on to receive his JD from the University of Wyoming in 1985.

Professional experience

Simpson has worked as an attorney for Simpson, Kepler and Edwards, Limited Liability Company since 1986.

Political experience

Simpson served as Precinct Committeeman from 1988 to 1994 and as State Central Committeeman from 1992 to 1996. He then joined the Wyoming State House of Representatives in 1999. From 2005 to 2006, he served as House Speaker Pro Tempore. Simpson then served as House Majority Floor Leader from 2007 to 2008. He has been Speaker of the House since 2009.
