The 2nd congressional district of Colorado will hold an election for the U.S. House of Representatives on November 6, 2012.
This is the 2nd congressional district prior to the 2010 redistricting.

Candidates wishing to run must file by the signature filing deadline of April 2, 2012. The primary elections will be held on June 26, 2012.

The 2nd district is one of five located in central Colorado.

Heading into the election the incumbent is Jared Polis (D), who was first elected in 2008.

On November 2, 2010, Jared Polis won re-election to the United States House. He defeated Stephen Bailey, Jenna Goss, and Curtis Harris in the general election.[1]
