The Colorado Same-Sex Marriage Amendment may appear on the 2014 ballot in Colorado as an initiated constitutional amendment. The measure would include same-sex unions in the state's definition of marriage and declare that the state recognize them.[1]

Supporters must obtain at least 86,105 valid signatures in order to place the measure on the ballot, regardless of whether the measure is an initiated constitutional amendment or an initiated state statute.
