A Columbia School District Bond Measure will be on the May 3, 2011 ballot in the Columbia school district area which is in Lenawee, Washtenaw, Hillsdale and Jackson Counties.

This measure seeks to issue a bond in the amount of $5 million in order to remodel and refurnish school buildings as well as improve and develope sites around the school including sidewalks and athletic fields.[1]

Text of measure

The question on the ballot:

Shall Columbia School District, Jackson, Lenawee, Washtenaw and Hillsdale Counties, Michigan, borrow the sum of not to exceed Five Million Dollars ($5,000,000) and issues its general obligation unlimited tax bonds therefore, for the purpose of: remodeling, furnishing and refurnishing and equipping and re-equipping school buildings; developing and improving sidewalks, driveways parking lots, playgrounds and athletic facilities; and developing and improving sites?[2]
