A Columbia Township Library Levy Addition measure was on the August 2, 2011 ballot in the township of Columbia which is in Tuscola County.

This measure was approved

This measure sought to increase the current library levy by a rate of $1 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a further six years in order to help pay for operational and maintenance costs of the library in the township.[2]

Text of measure

The question on the ballot:

Shall Columbia Township impose a new additional millage of up to 1 mill ($1 per $1,000 of taxable value)le value) for six years, 2011 through 2016 for operating and maintaining the township public library? If approved and levied, the millage will raise estimated revenues of $45,000 in the first year.[3]
