Contested primaries in U.S. Congressional elections, 2014

From Ballotpedia
Jump to: navigation, search

Despite the paltry number of contested primaries involving incumbents in 2012, 2014 party primaries are set to bring numerous endorsements from politicians, interest groups and public figures. For both open seats-- where the incumbent is leaving at the end of his or her term-- and incumbent-held seats, this election cycle has already provided an interesting narrative of high profile endorsements and advertisement buys. See the charts below for the big players in each race.
