Craig Brandt is a 2012 Republican Senator-elect for District 40 of the New Mexico State Senate. Brandt holds a Bachelor's degree in Pastoral Ministries from Oklahoma Baptist University. He is the Vice President for the Rio Rancho Public Schools Board of Education. He was a bill analyst for the Republican party on the Consumer and Public Affairs Committee in the 2011 Legislative session.[1]


Brandt says job growth, education, and licenses are the big issues of his campaign.[2]

Brandt ran in the 2012 election for New Mexico State Senate District 40. He defeated R. Morgan Braden in the Republican primary on June 5, 2012 and defeated by Linda M. Allison in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[3][4]
